MAHARASHTRA REGIONAL AND TOWN PLANNING ACT, 1966.

Whereas, the Development Plan of Bhandara (Revised) has been sanctioned by the Director of Town Planning, Maharashtra State, Pune vide Notification No. D.P. Bhandara (R.) TPS-2-3085, Dated 29th May, 1992 has come into force with effect from the 1st November, 1992 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Development Plan") under Section 31(1) of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966, (Mah. XXXVII of 1966);
And whereas, in the said Development Plan, the lands bearing Kh. No. 111, 112, 113/1, 2 & 115 admeasuring about 3.66 Ha. of Mouze Bhandara is reserved for Site No. 44, Garden (hereinafter referred to as "the said Reservation");
And whereas, the Bhandara Municipal Council, being the Planning Authority in the respect of the said Land (hereinafter referred to as "the said Planning Authority"); vide its Resolution No. 18, dated 25th August, 2014 has resolved to delete the land bearing Khasara No. 111/1 & 111/8 admeasuring about 1.35 Ha. of the said reservation and included in Residential Zone by carrying out a modification to the said Development Plan, by following all the legal formalities stipulated under Section 37 (1) of the said Act and forwarded the proposal to Government for sanction vide letter dated 22-09-2015(hereinafter referred to as "the said Modification");
And whereas, in view of above and after making necessary enquiries and after consulting the Director of Town Planning, Maharashtra State, Pune, the Government is of the opinion that the said Modification needs to be rejected;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (2) of Section 37 of the said Act, the Government of Maharashtra hereby refuses to accord sanction to the said Modification.
The Notification shall be kept open for inspection by the general public during office hours in the office of the Chief Officer, Bhandara Municipal Council, Bhandara;
This Notification shall also be available on the Government website www.maharashtra.gov.in (ॅ म् ह्यद्ध) By order and in the name of the Governor of Maharashtra,
