MAHARASHTRA UNAIDED PRIVATE PROFESSIONAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS (REGULATIONS OF ADMISSION AND FEES) ACT, 2015.

No. CET-2016/C.R.128/Mashi-2.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 3 read with clause (r) of section 2 of the Maharashtra Un-aided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission and Fees) Act, 2015 (Mah. Act. No.XXVIII of 2015), and in suppression of the Government Notification, Higher and Technical Education Department, No. BEd.4615/C.R. 210/Mashi, Dated the 21st January 2016, the Government of Maharashtra hereby notifies,—

(i) the Professional Education Under Graduate Courses mentioned in column (2) of scheduled- A, appended hereto to be the Professional Education and specifies that the Eligibility conditions and requirements for admissions of the said Professional courses are such as mentioned in column (3) of the scheduled ;

(ii) the Professional Education Post Graduate Courses mentioned in column (2) of scheduled- B, appended hereto to be the Professional Education and specifies that the Eligibility conditions and requirements for admissions of the said Professional courses are such as mentioned in column (3) of the scheduled.

	c	First year of Bachelor of education programme through open and distance learning system leading to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Degree.	The candidate should be an Indian National and should be (i) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education. (ii) Candidates who have completed a NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode.

	d	First year of Bachelor of education programme (part-time) leading to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Degree.	The candidate should be an Indian National and should have (i) Upper Primary and Secondary school teachers who are in service as full time teacher for at least two years at the time of making application and who shall continue to be in service during the entire duration of the programme. The applicant shall be require to furnish a certificate to this effect from the Head of the school where the applicant is employed. (ii) The applicant with minimum 50% marks (Minimum 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) either in the Bachelor Degree and/ or in the Postgraduate Degree in Sciences/ Humanities/ Social Sciences or Bachelor degree in Engineering or Technology with background/ specialization in Science and Mathematics with minimum 50% marks (Minimum 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
	e	First year of 4 year integrated programme leading to (Bachelor of B.Sc.B.Ed. (Bachelor of Science Bachelor of Education)/ B.A.B.Ed. (Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Education)/ degree.	The candidate should be an Indian National and should have minimum 50% marks (Minimum 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the senior secondary/+2 or its equivalent.
2	a	First year of B.Ed. programme leading to Bachelor of (Special Education–Visual Impairment) Degree.	The candidate should be an Indian National and should have with minimum 50% marks (Minimum 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) either in the Bachelor's Degree and/or in the Master's degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and Mathematics with minimum 55% marks (Minimum 50% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) or any other qualification equivalent thereto.

3		First year of Bachelor of physical education programme leading to Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) Degree.	The candidate should be an Indian National and should have - (a) Bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (Minimum 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) and having at least participation in the inter- college/ inter-zonal/ district/school competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU (Association of Indian Universities)/ IOA (Indian Olympic Association)/ SGFI (School games Federation of India)/ Government of India. OR (b) Bachelor's degree in Physical Education with minimum 45% marks (Minimum 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State). OR (c) Bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum 45% marks (Minimum 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) and studied Physical Education as compulsory/ elective subject. OR (d) Bachelor's degree with minimum 45% marks (Minimum 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) and having participated in National/Inter-University/ State Competitions or secured, 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in inter-college/ inter-zonal/ district/school competition in Sports and Games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Government of India. OR (e) Bachelor's degree with participation in international competitions or secured, 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in inter-college/ inter- zonal/district/school competition in sports and games as recognized by respective federation/AIU/IOA/SGFI/ Government of India.
			OR (f) Graduation with minimum 45% marks (Minimum 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) and at least three years of teaching experience (for deputed in-service i.e. candidates trained physical education teachers/ coaches)

The candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed with minimum 50% marks (Minimum 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) or an equivalent grade in the following programmes :- (i) B.Ed., (ii) B.A.B.Ed./ B.Sc.B.Ed., (iii) B.El.Ed., (iv) D.El.Ed. with an undergraduate degree [with 50% marks in each (Minimum 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State)].
	b	First year of three year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. (Bachelor of Education- Master of Education) Degree.	The candidate should be an Indian National and should have the following qualification: Essential- A Postgraduate degree in Science/ Social Sciences/ Humanities from a recognised institution with a minimum 55% marks (Minimum 50% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) or equivalent grade. Desirable- The candidates have a demonstrated interest and experience in education.
2	a	First year of Master of Education- Special Education (M.Ed.Spl.Ed) Degree.	The admission of the degree of M.Ed.Spl.Ed. Degree shall be open to - (i) A Candidate passed B.Ed (Spl.Ed.) with minimum 50% marks in respective disability area from a recognized university or any other degree considered equivalent to B.Ed Spl. Ed. from an affiliating university and/ or teaching department under any University recognized by UGC (University Grand Commission) with RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) registration. (ii) A Candidate passed the B.Ed. General course and completed Diploma in Education
			Special Education in respective disability area recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India with minimum 50% marks in each course . (iii) A Candidate passed PG Diploma (Till Academic session 2014-15). (iv) A Candidate passed B.Ed. in particular specialization may be allowed for M.Ed. cross disability/multi-category (as and when offered) but the reverse is not allowed. B.Ed. with multi- category should not be admitted for specialization in a single disability at the M.Ed. level, however; as part of CBCS, these can be admitted to B.Ed. Special Education Area C, Courses and complete the Specialization Courses to qualify for a particular disability. On completion of Area C, these can be admitted to the M.Ed. Special Education in a specific disability. (v) A student with B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. B.Ed.Spl. Ed. (4 years Integrated). (vi) Candidate should have valid RCI registration.
3		First year of Master of Physical education programme leading to Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) Degree.	The candidate should be an Indian National and should have - (a) Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or equivalent with minimum 50% of Marks (Minimum 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State). OR (b) Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in health and Physical Education with minimum 50% marks (Minimum 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State).
