MAHARASHTRA CONTROL OF ORGANIZED CRIME ACT, 1999,

TERRORIST AND DISRUPTIVE ACTIVITIES (PREVENTION) ACT, 1987,

THE PREVENTION OF TERRORISM ACT, 2002,

NATIONAL INVESTIGATION AGENCY ACT, 2008.

No. SPC. 1318/C.R. 142/D-IX.—In exercise of the powers conferred by,—

(a) sub-section (1) read with sub-section (3) of section 5 of the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act, 1999 (Mah. XXX of 1999) (MCOCA for short),

(b) sub-section (1) read with sub-section (4) of section 9 of the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act, 1987 (XXVIII of 1987) (TADA for short), read with section 4 of Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act, 1987 (Repealed) Repealing and amending Act, 2001 (Act 30 of 2001),

(c) sub-section (1) read with sub-section (4) of section 23 of the Prevention of Terrorism Act, 2002 (XV of 2002) (POTA for short), read with section 2 of the Prevention of Terrorism (Repeal) Act, 2004 (26 of 2004),(d) sub-section (1) of section 11 and sub-section (1) read with sub-section (2) (i) of section 22 of the National Investigation Agency Act, 2008 (Act 34 of 2008) (in short NIA Act), (१) भाग चार-अ----१७२-१ २ महाराष्ट्र शासन राजपत्र असाधारण भाग चार-अ, ऑगस्ट २३, २०१८/भाद्रपद १, शके १९४० the Government of Maharashtra, with the concurrence of the Chief Justice of Bombay High Court, hereby constitute the Special Court/Designated Court presided over by Shri D. S. Deshmukh, Judge, City Civil Court and Additional Sessions Judge, Mumbai, in place of Shri M. B. Datye, Judge, City Civil Court and Additional Sessions Judge, Mumbai to deal and try the cases under MCOCA/TADA/POTA Act and NIA Act, 2008 including the offences investigated by ATS within the jurisdiction of Greater Mumbai, with effect from 1st September 2018.
