WHEREAS, Election Petition No. 1 of 2016 filed by Vasant Shankarrao Davkhare against Ravindra Sadanand Phatak, had come up for hearing before the Hon'ble Shri Justice Prakash D. Naik on 21st September, 2018, when the Advocate appearing for the Petitioner has produced copy of Death Certificate of Petitioner which indicates that the Petitioner has expired on 4th January 2018 ;
AND WHEREAS, pursuant to the directions issued by the Hon'ble Court Registry is publishing the notice as contemplated under the provision of Section 112 of Representation of the People's Act, 1951 to public at large, that any person who desires to appear in the Petition and to pursue the Petition, may, within 14 days of such publication, apply to the Hon'ble Court, failing which the Petition will be disposed of as abated. The matter is adjourned to 26th October 2018.
