Under Section 9(2) of the Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats and Industrial Townships Act, 1965 taking into consideration 2011 census population. (including the Population of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Class of Citizens), the number of elected councilors in respect of Sindkhed Raja Municipal Council of Buldana District is fixed as mentioned in the following Table.
Similarly the number of seats to be reserved for Women (including the seats belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Class of Citizens) and the number of seats to be reserved for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Class of Citizens are also fixed as mentioned in the Table.
