Whereas, Chandrapur City Development Plan (Extended Area) is approved by the Government Notification, No.TPS-2294-1315-CR-253-96-UD-9, Dated the 2nd June 1997 and come into force from dated- 15th August 1997. As per Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966 Section 38, it is necessary to Revised Development Plan atleast once in 20 years from the date on which it comes into force.

Chandrapur City Municipal Corporation under it's General Body Resolution No. 39, Dated the 30th August 2018 has declared it's intention to prepare the New Development Plan of extended Municipal Corporation limit as per provision under Section 21(2), 23(1) and 38 of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966.

Copy of plan showing the area for which the Development Plan is to be revised is displayed and kept open for inspection of the public on all working days during office hours at the Head Office and Zone Office of the Chandrapur City Municipal Corporation, Chandrapur as required under Section 23(2) of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966.

Suggestions/Objections if any, which should be communicated in writing within 60 (sixty) days from the date of the publication of the intention in the Maharashtra Government Gazette, shall be considered by the Chandrapur City Municipal Corporation, Chandrapur for the consideration under Section 23(1) of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966.

Public Notice, No. NPK-DP-182-2018-19, dt. 19-04-2018 was published in the newspaer Tarun Bharat, the Hitavada of its publication dt. 20-04-2018 and द्धन्रु]क्ष् रू न् ॅ-+ न् ह्यम््र ान्म््र, ह्य २६-द्ध २, २०१८/म् ६-१२,ॅ १९४० ह. ५, +ाॅद्धहॅ ६० in it, the intention to prepare Development Plan of Kuhi Nagar Panchayat for the area within its jurisdiction, as per the Section 23(1) of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966 was declared. But the Nagar Panchayat was the newly formed Nagar Panchayat, so the intention was to make such " as per the Section 23 (1) of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966 [ along with the Section 21 (2) of the said Act ] ".

No. NIT-DDTP-Section-37-798-2018.—

The Revised Development Plan of Nagpur City prepared under the provisions of Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966 have been sanctioned by Government vide Urban Development Deptt. Notification No. TPS-2496- 2643-CR-300(a) 97-UD-9, dated the 7th January 2000 and finally sanctioned by Government vide, Notification No. TPS- 2400-1628-CR-2000-UD-9, dated the 10th September 2001. Aslo Nagpur Improvement Trust has been declared as " Planning Authority " for the seven Improvement Schemes being implemented by the Nagpur Improvement Trust vide Government Notification No. TPS-2401-855-CR-76-UD-9 dated 27th February 2002. The said land falls in " Eastern Industrial Area Street Scheme " within 7 schemes mentioned above.

In the said Revised Sanctioned Development Plan, the Nagpur Improvement Trust is desirous of making some modification u/s 37 of Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966. Accordingly Nagpur Improvement Trust vide its Board Resolution No. 15-1180, dated 13-06-2018, SE-PLANNING has consented to make the aforesaid modi- fication in Development Plan of Nagpur. The aforesaid modification proposed is as under.—

XXXVII of 1966) (hereinafter referred to as " the said Act "), the Government of Maharashtra has sanctioned a part of the Draft Development Plan of Nagpur Metropolitan Area (hereinafter referred to as said " Development Plan "), excluding certain part, vide Urban Development Department's Notification No. TPS-2416-CR-122(A)-2016-SM-UD-9, Dated the 05th January, 2018 (hereinafter referred to as " the said Notification "), which appeared in the Official Gazette, Part-A, Nagpur Divisional Supplement, Dated the 9th January, 2018 and came into force with effect from Dated 9th February, 2018 ;

And whereas, the Government has republished the modifications of substantial nature with regard to the excluded parts of the said Development Plan (hereinafter referred to as " the said Excluded Part ") vide Urban Development Department's Notice No. TPS-2416-C.R.-122(B)-2016-E.P.-UD-9, dated 05th January, 2018 (hereinafter referred to as " the said Notice "), published in the Maharashtra Government Gazette, Part-A, Nagpur Divisional Supplement, Dated 09th January, 2018 and corrigendum to the said Notice issued on 21st February, 2018 and 29th June, 2018 for inviting suggestions/objections from the general public under second proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 31 of the said Act. ;

And whereas, in accordance with sub-section (2) of section 31 of the said Act, the Government, vide the said Notice, appointed the Joint Director of Town Planning, Nagpur Division, Nagpur as " Officer " to hear the objections or suggestions in respect of the said Excluded Part and to submit his report to the Government (hereinafter referred to as " the said Officer ") ;

And whereas, the said Officer submitted his report to the Government vide his Marathi letter No. ह्यम्. . द्ध-.्र- +म्-रूरूह-११५७, Dated 19th July, 2018 ;

And whereas, in accordance with sub-section (3) of Section 31 of the said Act, the Government of Maharashtra has taken into consideration the objections and suggestions received and the report of the said Officer ;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of Section 31 of the said Act, and of all other powers enabling it on that behalf, and after consulting the Director of Town Planning, Maharashtra State, the Government of Maharashtra hereby sanctions the said Excluded Part of the Nagpur Metropolitan Area as specified E. P. No. 101, 102, 159, 259 & 266 as specified in the Schedule B of Modifications annexed hereto, which shall be a part of the Final Development Plan of the Nagpur Metropolitan Area ;
