महाराष्ट्र अत्यावश्यक सेवा परिरक्षण अधिनियम, २०११.
क्रमांक बेस्ट-२५१८/प्र.क्र.१०८३/नवि-२१.------ज्याअर्थी, बृहन्मुंबई महानगरपालिकेच्या वीज पुरवठा व परिवहन उपक्रमाकडून (यापुढे ज्यास " उक्त उपक्रम " असे संबोधण्यात आले आहे.) बृहन्मुंबर्ईत विद्युत पुरवठा व परिवहन सेवा पुरविण्यात येतात ;
ज्याअर्थी, वीज पुरवठा व परिवहन सेवा पुरविणा-या उक्त उपक्रमातील कर्मचारी संपावर जाण्याची शक्यता आहे ;
आणि ज्याअर्थी, महाराष्ट्र अत्यावश्यक सेवा परिरक्षण अधिनियम, २०११ चे (सन २०१२ चा महाराष्ट्र अधिनियम क्र. १२) च्या कलम २ च्या खंड (क) च्या उपखंड (एक) व (दोन) च्या तरतुदीनुसार विद्युत पुरवठा व परिवहन उपक्रम आपत्कालीन नियंत्रण सेवा या अत्यावश्यक सेवा आहेत ;
आणि ज्याअर्थी, बृहन्मुंबर्ई विद्युत पुरवठा व परिवहन उपक्रमातील कर्मचा-यांकडून होणारा संप/आंदोलन हा सदर अत्यावश्यक सेवा विस्कळीत करु शकतो ;
आणि ज्याअर्थी, महाराष्ट्र शासनाची खात्री पटली आहे की, सदर बृहन्मुंबर्ई विद्युत पुरवठा व परिवहन उपक्रमाद्वारे पुरविण्यात येणा-या सदर अत्यावश्यक सेवांतील संपास बंदी घालणे लोकहिताच्या दृष्टिने अत्यावश्यक आहे.
म्हणून, आता, महाराष्ट्र अत्यावश्यक सेवा परिरक्षण अधिनियम, २०११ (सन २०१२ चा महाराष्ट्र अधिनियम क्र. १२) चे कलम २ चा खंड (क) चा उपखंड (एक) व (दोन) यासह कलम ४ चे पोट-कलम (१) मधील तरतुदीच्या अधीन राहून महाराष्ट्र शासन याद्वारे सदर महानगरपालिकेच्या सदर अत्यावश्यक सेवा पुरविणा-या सेवेतील कर्मचा-यांच्या संपास दिनांक ४ जानेवारी २०१९ पासून मनाई करीत आहे.

NOTIFICATION
MAHARASHTRA ESSENTIAL SERVICE MAINTENANCE ACT, 2011.
No. BEST-2518/C.R.1083/UD-21.—Whereas, The Brihan Mumbai Electric Supply and Transport Undertaking of the Municipal Corporation of Brihan Mumbai (hereinafter referred to as "the said Undertaking") is engaged in the supply of electric supply and transport services in Brihan Mumbai ;
Whereas, employees of the said undertaking, engaged in the electric supply and transport services provided by the said Undertaking in the Brihan Mumbai, are likely to go on strike ;
And whereas, the supply of electricity and transport services are essential services within the meaning of sub-clauses (i) and (ii) of clause (a) of section 2 of the Maharashtra Essential Services Maintenance Act, 2011 (Mah. XII of 2012) ;
And whereas, the Government of Maharashtra is satisfied that, it is necessary, in public interest, to prohibit the strike in the said essential services provided by the said Undertaking.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 read with sub- clauses (i) and (ii) of clause (a) of section 2 of the Maharashtra Essential Services Maintenance Act, 2011 (Mah. XII of 2012), The Government of Maharashtra hereby prohibits the strikes from 4th January 2019 by the workers and employees of the said Undertaking in the electric supply and transport services provided by it.
