NOTIFICATION
MAHARASHTRA MATHADI, HAMAL AND OTHER MANUAL WORKERS ( REGULATION OF EMPLOYMENT AND WELFARE) ACT, 1969.
No. UWA. 2018/C.R. 919/Labour-5.—Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 6 of the Maharashtra Mathadi, Hamal and other Manual Workers ( Regulation of Employment and Welfare) Act, 1969 ( Mah.XXX of 1969) ( hereinafter referred to as the " said Act "), the Government has decided to establish the Pune District Mathadi and Unprotected Labour Board ( hereinafter referred to as the " said Board ") ;
And whereas, it will take some more time to reconstitute the said Board as per the provisions of sub- section (1) of the said section 6, for administrative purpose.
Now, therefore in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 6A of the Maharashtra Mathadi, Hamal and other Manual Workers ( Regulation of Employment and Welfare) Act, 1969 ( Mah.XXX of 1969) read with the proviso to sub-rule (1) of Rule 3 of the Maharashtra Mathadi, Hamal and other Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Welfare ) Rules, 1970, the Government of Maharashtra hereby constitutes the One Man Board from the date mentioned in column (3) for the One Man Mathadi Board mentioned in column (1) of the Schedule appended hereto and appoints the officer mentioned in column (2) of the said Schedule, as the Chairman, and authorize him to perform all the duties according to the rules and also authorizes him to perform his rightful duties as laid down by the said Board.
