NOTIFICATION

No. SPP-3818/1532/C.R.275/D-XIV.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (8) of the section 24 of the code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act No. II of 1974), the Government of Maharashtra hereby appoints Adv. Sangita Phad as "Special Public Prosecutor" for conducting the M.C.O.C.A. Case No. 08/2017 pending before Sessions Court, Thane, which is arising out of C.R. No. I 475/2016 registered at Narpoli Police Station, Dist. Thane.

2. Her appointment is strictly subject to the conditions of service laid down in the Maharashtra Law Officers (Appointment, Conditions of Service and Remuneration) Rules, 1984.

3. Lump Sum fees of Rs. 25,000 (Rs. Twenty Five Thousand Only) as quoted by Adv. Sangita Phad has been already deposited by the applicant Shri Abhijit Pradip Kandagale to the Government, vide R. B. Challan No. 91 dated 5th November 2018. The amount will be paid to Adv. Sangita Phad after completion of the case.

4. The Government reserves the right to revoke/modify/annul the order without assigning any reasons.
