महाराष्ट्र महानगरपालिका अधिनियम.
क्रमांक चंमपा-२०१८/प्र.क्र.९५/नवि-२६.----ज्याअर्थी, श्रीमती रंजना संजय यादव यांनी, एप्रिल, २०१७ मध्ये घेण्यात आलेली चंद्रपूर महानगरपालिकेची सार्वत्रिक निवडणूक लढविली होती, आणि त्या मागास नागरिकांच्या (महिला) वर्गाकरिता राखीव असलेल्या जागेवर, प्रभाग क्रमांक ६-ब मधून नगरसेवक म्हणून निवडून आल्याचे घोषित करण्यात आले होते ;
आणि ज्याअर्थी, चंद्रपूर येथील जिल्हा जात प्रमाणपत्र पडताळणी समितीने आपल्या दिनांक ५ सप्टेंबर २०१८ रोजीच्या आदेशानुसार (यात यापुढे ज्याचा निर्देश " उक्त आदेश " असा करण्यात आला आहे.) उक्त श्रीमती रंजना संजय यादव यांचे जात प्रमाणपत्र अवैध असल्याचे घोषित केले आहे ;
आणि ज्याअर्थी, जिल्हा जात प्रमाणपत्र पडताळणी समिती, चंद्रपूर यांनी जात प्रमाणपत्र अवैध असल्याचे घोषित केल्याच्या परिणामी, आणि महाराष्ट्र महानगरपालिका अधिनियम (१९४९ चा महा. ५९) याच्या कलम १० च्या पोट-कलम (१क) च्या खंड (ब) अनुसार, महाराष्ट्र शासनास, उक्त श्रीमती रंजना संजय यादव यांना उक्त आदेशाच्या दिनांकापासून सहा वषार्ंच्या कालावधीकरिता नगरसेवक म्हणून निवडून येण्यासाठी किंवा नगरसेवक म्हणून असण्यासाठी अपात्र ठरविणे इष्ट वाटते;
त्याअर्थी, आता, महाराष्ट्र महानगरपालिका अधिनियम (१९४९ चा ५९) याच्या कलम १० च्या पोट-कलम (१क) च्या खंड (ब) द्वारे प्रदान करण्यात आलेल्या अधिकारांचा, आणि याबाबतीत त्यास समर्थ करणाया इतर सर्व अधिकारांचा वापर करून, महाराष्ट्र शासन, याद्वारे श्रीमती रंजना संजय यादव यांना उक्त आदेशाच्या दिनांकापासून सहा वषार्ंच्या कालावधीकरिता त्या महानगरपालिकेचा नगरसेवक म्हणून निवडून येण्यासाठी किंवा असण्यासाठी अपात्र ठरवित आहे.

NOTIFICATION
MAHARASHTRA MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS ACT.
No. CMC.2018/C.R. 95/UD-26.—Whereas, Smt. Ranjana Sanjay Yadav has contested the general elections to the Chandrapur Municipal Corporation, held in April 2017, and was declared elected as a Councillor from Ward No. 6-B, on a seat reserved for the Backward Class of Citizens (Women) ;
And whereas, the District Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Chandrapur, has, vide its Order dated the 5th September 2018 (hereinafter referred to as " the said Order "), declared the Caste Certificate of the said Smt.Ranjana Sanjay Yadav as invalid ;
And whereas, consequent upon the declaration of the Caste Certificate as invalid by the District Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Chandrapur and in pursuance of clause (b) of sub-section (1c) of section 10 of the Maharashtra Municipal Corporations Act (LIX of 1949), the Government of Maharashtra considers it expedient to disqualify the said Smt. Ranjana Sanjay Yadav for being elected or being a Councillor for a period of six years from the date of the said Order ;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1c) of section 10 of the Maharashtra Municipal Corporations Act (LIX of 1949) and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf, the Government of Maharashtra hereby disqualifies Smt.Ranjana Sanjay Yadav for being elected or being a Councillor of the Municipal Corporation for a period of six years from the date of the said Order.
