वन्यजीव (संरक्षण) अधिनियम, १९७२.

क्रमांक डब्ल्यूएलपी. १०१८/प्र.क्र. ३९२/फ-१.---- ज्याअर्थी, महाराष्ट्र शासनाने, वन्यजीव (संरक्षण) अधिनियम, १९७२ (१९७२ चा ५३) याच्या कलम १८, पोट-कलम (१) द्वारे प्रदान करण्यात आलेल्या अधिकारांचा वापर करून काढण्यात आलेली शासकीय अधिसूचना, महसूल व वन विभाग, क्रमांक डब्ल्यूएलपी. १०९५/प्र.क्र. ८०/फ-१, दिनांक ७ डिसेंबर २००० (यात यापुढे जिचा निर्देश "उक्त अधिसूचना" असा करण्यात आला आहे) अन्वये, त्यासोबत जोडलेल्या अनुसूचीमध्ये विर्िनदिष्ट केलेले वाशिम जिल्ह्यच्या कारंजा तालुक्यातील ५३.७० हेक्टर इतके क्षेत्र (यात यापुढे ज्याचा निर्देश "उक्त क्षेत्र" असा करण्यात आला आहे) हे, "कारंजा सोहोळ काळवीट वन्यजीव अभयारण्य" म्हणून प्रस्थापित करण्याबाबतचा आपला उद्देश घोषित केला आहे ;

आणि ज्याअर्थी, महाराष्ट्र शासनाने, उक्त अधिनियमाच्या कलम २६ द्वारे प्रदान करण्यात आलेल्या अधिकारांचा वापर करून काढण्यात आलेली शासकीय अधिसूचना, महसूल व वन विभाग, क्रमांक डब्ल्यूएलपी. १०९५/प्र.क्र. ८०/फ-१, दिनांक २४ ऑक्टोबर २००३ याद्वारे असे निर्देश दिले आहेत की, उक्त अधिसूचने अन्वये घोषित केलेल्या कारंजा सोहोळ अभयारण्याच्या हद्दींमध्ये समाविष्ट असलेल्या जमिनींच्याबाबतीत, उप विभागीय अधिकारी, वाशिम हा, उक्त अधिनियमाची कलमे १९ ते २५ खालील जिल्हाधिका-याचे अधिकार व कर्तव्ये पार पाडील ;

आणि ज्याअर्थी, दिनांक २४ ऑक्टोबर २००३ ची अधिसूचना प्रसिद्ध करून वाशिम जिल्हा निर्माण करण्यात आला असल्याने, उक्त क्षेत्राच्या बाबतीत, उक्त अधिनियमाची कलमे १९ ते २५ खालील जिल्हाधिका-याचे अधिकार व कर्तव्ये उप विभागीय अधिकारी, कारंजा यांच्याकडे सोपविणे शासनास इष्ट वाटते ;

NOTIFICATION

WILD LIFE (PROTECTION) ACT, 1972.

No. WLP. 1018/CR-392/F-1.— Whereas, the Government of Maharashtra, has vide the Government Notification, Revenue and Forest Department, No. WLP. 1095/CR-80/F-1, dated 7th December 2000, (hereinafter referred to as "the said Notification") issued in exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) of section 18 of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 (53 of 1972), declared its intention to constitute an area of 53.7 Ha. in Karanja Taluka of the Washim District specified in the Schedule appended thereto, as "Karanja Sohal Blackbuck Wildlife Sanctuary" ;

And whereas, the Government of Maharashtra, has vide the Government Notification, Revenue and Forest Department, No. WLP. 1095/CR-80/F-1, dated 24th October 2003, issued in exercise of the power conferred by section 26 of the said Act, directed the Sub-Divisional Officer, Washim to exercise powers and functions under section 19 to 25 of the said Act, in respect of the lands comprised within the limits of the area specified in the said Notification ;

Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred under section 26 of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 (53 of 1972), and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Government of Maharashtra, hereby directs that the powers exercisable and the functions to be performed by the Collector under section 19 to 25 of the said Act, in respect of the lands comprised within the limits of the area specified in the said Notification, shall be exercised and performed by the Sub-Divisional Officer, Karanja.
