CORRIGENDUM

INDIAN FOREST ACT, 1927.

No. FLD. 13/2019/C.R. 370/F-3.—Whereas, the Conservator of Forest, Central Circle had issued a notice No. K-137, dated the 10th February 1956, in pursuance of sub-section (3) of section 35 of the Indian Forest Act, 1927 (XVI of 1927), in its application to the State of Maharashtra, to Shri Purushottam Dhondu Vaidya, owner of land in forest bearings survey No. 55/2, in Nadha Village, Khalapur Taluka, Kolaba District (hereinafter referred to as " the said land ") to show cause as to why a notification under sub-section (1) of section 35 of the said Act appended to the said notice to regulate certain acts in the said land in forest, should not be issued ;

And whereas, the Government of Maharashtra, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 35 of the said Act, had issued a Government Notification, Agriculture, Food and Forest Department, No. PRF. 1263/11358-II-J, dated the 14th August 1963, to regulate certain acts specified therein in the forest in Kolaba District including the said land of Shri Purushottam Dhondu Vaidya specified in the Schedule appended thereto ;

And whereas, in the said notification, in the Schedule, at entry 18, survey number of the forest land of Shri Purushottam Dhondu Vaidya, in Nadha Village, Khalapur Taluka, Kolaba District is inadvertently mentioned as 52/2 instead of 55/2 as correctly mentioned in the said notice ; And whereas, the Government considers it expedient to correct the said typographical error in the said notification ; (१) भाग चार-अ----२८३--१ L-6 २ महाराष्ट्र शासन राजपत्र असाधारण भाग चार-अ, नोव्हेंबर ६, २०१९/कर्ातिक १५, शके १९४१ Now, therefore, in the Government Notification, Agriculture, Food and Forest Department, No. PRF. 1263/11358-II-J, dated the 14th August, 1963, published in the Maharashtra Government Gazette, Part I, Bombay Division, dated the 10th December, 1964, at pages 2220-2223, on page

2223, in the Schedule, in entry at serial No. 18, in column (5), for " 52/2 " read " 55/2 ".
