The Office of the High Court of Bombay at Goa, Panaji will observe holiday on Saturday, 19th December 2020 on account of "Goa Liberation Day".
Summer Vacation : From Friday 8th May 2020 to Saturday 6th June 2020
(both days inclusive).
Diwali Vacation : From Monday 9th November 2020 to Saturday 21st November 2020 (both days inclusive) (including Diwali Holidays from 13th November 2020 to 21st November 2020).
Christmas Vacation : From Wednesday 23rd December 2020 to Saturday 2nd January
2021 (both days inclusive).
4. During the Summer, Diwali and Christmas Vacations, the Offices on the Original Side will remain open daily from 11-00 a.m. to 5-00 p.m. except on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. But no work, except of an urgent nature, will be received after 4-15 p.m.
The Offices on the Appellate Side will also remain open daily from 11-00 a.m. to 5-00 p.m. except on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays during the Summer, Diwali and Christmas Vacations. The Offices will however, remain closed for filing of Judicial matters, except the following :—
(a) Criminal Cases.
(b) Applications in Civil Cases seeking urgent relief.
(c) Matters to which the provisions of Section 4 of the Limitation Act, 1963, are not applicable.
