NOTIFICATION
No. 21591/A.—The following order by the Governor of Maharashtra is published for general information :—
" Whereas the office of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly is lying vacant and the purpose of the Pro Tem Speaker appointed for administering oath to the newly elected members of the Legislative Assembly and conduct of Floor Test on 27th November 2019 is over.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by clause (1) of Article 180 of the Constitution of India, I, Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Governor of Maharashtra, hereby appoint Shri Dilip Walse Patil a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, to perform the duties of the Office of the Speaker until the Speaker shall have been chosen by the said Assembly.
