NOTIFICATION
MAHARASHTRA STATE COUNCIL OF EXAMINATION ACT, 1998.
No. Misc-2016/Cr.No.116/SD-2.-----Whereas, the Government of Maharashtra has, vide Government Notification, School Education and Sports Department, No. MISC-2016/C.R.116/SD-2, dated the 7th December 2017, issued in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Maharashtra State Council of Examinations Act, 1998 (Mah. I of 1999) nominated the members mentioned in the Schedule appended thereto, under clauses (iv), (v) and (vi) of sub-section (1) of section 5 of the said Act, on the Maharashtra State Council of Examinations ;
And Whereas, the Government of Maharashtra has decided to remove the said nominated members from their respective office ;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 15 of the Maharashtra State Council of Examinations Act, 1998 (Mah. I of 1999), the Government of Maharashtra hereby removes the following nominated members of the Maharashtra State Council of Examinations from their respective office, namely :-
