In pursuance of clause (3) of article 348 of the Constitution of India, the following translation in English of the Maharashtra Appropriation ( Excess Expenditure ) Bill , 2020 ( L. A. Bill No. XVI of 2020 ) , introduced in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly on the 4th March 2020 , is hereby published under the authority of the Governor .

A BILL
to provide for the authorisation of appropriation of moneys out of the Consolidated Fund of the State to meet the amounts spent on certain services and purposes during the financial year ended on the thirty- first day of March 2015, in excess of the amounts granted for those services and for that year .
WHEREAS by virtue of article 204 of the Constitution of India , read with article 205 thereof, it is necessary to provide for the passing of an Appropriation Act for the authorisation of appropriation of moneys out of the Consolidated Fund of the State to meet the amounts spent on certain services and purposes during the financial year ended on the thirty- first day of March 2015 , in excess of the amounts granted for those services and for that year ; it is hereby enacted in the Seventy- first Year of the Republic of India as follows :-
1. This Act may be called the Maharashtra Appropriation ( Excess Expenditure ) Act , Short title . 2020 .

Issue of Rs . 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State , the sums specified in column 34,73,41,10,000 (4) of the Schedule hereto annexed amounting in aggregate to the sum of three thousand out of the four hundred seventy three crores , forty one lakhs , ten thousand rupees shall be deemed Fund of the to have been authorised to be paid and applied to meet the amount spent for defraying State to the several charges in respect of the services and purposes specified in column ( 2) meet certain of the Schedule during the financial year ended on the 31st day of March 2015 , in excess excess of the amounts granted for those services and purposes for that financial year .

Appropriation. 3. The sums deemed to have been authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State under this Act shall be deemed to have been appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the financial year ended on the thirty- first day of March 2015 .
