Whereas, the Slum Rehabilitation Authority has formed Slum Rehabilitation Scheme under the provision of section 3B (3) of Maharashtra Slum Area (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971 and published in Gazette on 9th April 1998 ;
And whereas, in exercise of the provision of section 3C(1) of the Maharashtra Slum Area (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971, the Chief Executive Officer, Slum Rehabilitation Authority is empowered to declare any area as " Slum Rehabilitation Area ".
Therefore, in exercise of the said provision of section 3C(1) of the Maharashtra Slum Area (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971. I, undersigned is hereby declare the area shown in schedule as "Slum Rehabilitation Area". Now the said area is open to submit scheme of Slum Rehabilitation as per regulation 33 (10) of Development Control and Promotion Regulations, 2034 of Greater Mumbai.

MULTI COMMODITY EXCHANGE CLEARING CORPORATION LIMITED
Subject Securities and Exchange Board of India's ("SEBI") approval, it is proposed to make the following amendments in the Bye-laws of Multi Commodity Exchange Clearing Corporation Limited ("MCXCCL"). The proposed amendments are published under Rule 18 of Securities Contracts (Regulation) Rules, 1957 for information/public comments/criticism. Any person having any comments/observations on the proposed amendments to the Bye-Laws may send the same in writing to the undersigned at Multi Commodity Exchange Clearing Corporation Limited, Exchange Square, CTS No. 255, Suren Road, Chakala, Andheri (East), Mumbai – 400093 or through email to [email protected] within fifteen days from the date of this publication. The comments/ observations received after the fifteenth day will not be considered and the draft will be taken into consideration immediately after the expiry of fifteen days.
PROPOSED AMENDMENTS IN THE BYE-LAWS OF MCXCCL
1. In Bye-law 13.4.2 of MCXCCL Bye-laws, the following para shall be inserted after the words " Core SGF to the MRC".
"However, such contribution towards replenishment of Core SGF by the members would be restricted to only once during a period of 30 calendar days regardless of the number of defaults during the period. The period of 30 calendar days shall commence from the date of notice of default by Clearing Corporation to market participants. "
2. In Bye-law 13.5.1 of MCXCCL Bye-laws, in clause (g) of proviso, the existing Note shall be substituted with :—
Note :
i. Clearing Corporation shall call for the capped additional contribution only once during a period of 30 calendar days regardless of the number of defaults during the period. The period of 30 calendar days shall commence from the date of notice of default by the Clearing Corporation to market participants.
ii. Clearing Corporation shall have relevant regulations/provisions for non-defaulting members to resign un-conditionally within the abovementioned period of 30 calendar days, subject to member closing out/settling any outstanding positions, paying the capped additional contribution and any outstanding dues to SEBI. No further contribution shall be called from such resigned members.
iii. The maximum-capped additional contribution by non-defaulting members shall be lower of 2 times of their primary contribution to Core SGF or 10% of the Core SGF of the segment on the date of default in case of equity/ debt segments.
iv. The maximum-capped additional contribution by non-defaulting members shall be lower of 2 times of their primary contribution to Core SGF or 20% of the Core SGF of the segment on the date of default in case of derivatives segment.
v. In case of shortfall in recovery of assessed amounts from non-defaulting members, further loss can be allocated to layer "f" with approval of SEBI.
