In pursuance of clause (3) of article 348 of the Constitution of India, the following translation in English of the Symbiosis Skills and Open University (Amendment) Act, 2020 (Mah. Act No. XVII of 2020) is hereby published under the authority of the Governor.

An Act to amend the Symbiosis Skills and Open University Act, 2017

WHEREAS, it is expedient to amend the Symbiosis Skills and Open University Act, 2017, for the purposes hereinafter appearing ; it is hereby enacted in the Seventy-first year of the Republic of India as follows :—

Mah. XXXVII of 2017.

4. In section 1 of the principal Act, in sub-section (1), for the word "Open" the word "Professional" shall be substituted.

Amendment of section 1 of Mah. XXXVII of 2017.

5. In section 2 of the principal Act, in clause (xxix), for the word "Open" the word "Professional" shall be substituted.

Amendment of section 2 of Mah. XXXVII of 2017.

6. In section 3 of the principal Act,—

(1) in sub-section (1) for the word "Open" the word "Professional" Amendment of section 3 of Mah. XXXVII of 2017.

shall be substituted;

(2) in sub-section (2), for the word "Open" the word "Professional" shall be substituted;

(3) in sub-section (5), for the word "Open" the word "Professional" shall be substituted.
