Whereas, it has been brought to my notice that it is necesary to prevent commission of certain Acts for Peace and Public Order and safety.
And whereas, I am satisfied that it is necessary to prevent commission of certain Acts for the above said purpose.
Now, I, Ravindra Khajanji, Additional District Magistrate, Nagpur in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) and (3) of Section 37 of the Bombay Police Act, 1951 (Bom. XXII of 1951) prohibit within the limits of entire Nagpur District excluding the city of Nagpur.
(1) Assembly or procession of more than five persons.
(2) The carrying of Arms, Cudgels, Spears, Bludgeons, Guns, Knives, Sticks or lathers of articals which are capable of being used for causing physical injury.
(3) The carrying of corrosive substances or of explosives.
(4) The carrying collection and preparation of stones or other missiles or instruments or means of a casting of impelling missiles.
This order shall come into force with immediate effect from 00.01 Hrs. of dated 17th February, 2020 and shall remain inforce till 24.00 Hrs. of dated 02nd March, 2020.
This order shall be proclaimed by affixing copies or it at Police Station and at conspicuous places in the above mentioned area and shall be publised in the Maharashtra Government Gazette.
