DISASTER MANAGEMENT ACT, 2005
No. DMA/CR.101/2020/Pol-8.—Whereas the Government of India exercising powers under Section 10(2)(I) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, has issued revised Guidelines for containment of Covid-19 vide Order No. 40-3/2020-DM-I dated 15th April 2020.
Whereas, the provision under Section 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, authorises the State Government to authorise an Authority or Officer on its behalf to file complaint under the said Act. Whereas, the State Government in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, authorises the Officers not below the rank of the Deputy Superintendent of Police to file a complaint under the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
