(3) General Administration Department Government Resolution No. Misc.2715/ M.No.100/13 , dated 17th December 2016 .
No. FTC . 1419/C.R . 4/IX . Whereas the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India vide order dated 25th July 2019 in Suo -Moto Writ Petition ( Criminal ) No. 1/2019 directed the Union of India and the State Governments to set up exclusive / designated special POCSO Courts in the districts where more than 100 cases are pending under The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences ( POCSO ) Act, 2012 ;
And whereas , in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Government of India for the scheme of establishment of FTSCs for expeditious disposal of cases of rapes and POCSO Act under " National Mission for Safety of Women " , the Government of Maharashtra in consultation with Hon'ble High Court ofJudicature at Bombay vide Government Resolution dated 4th March 2020. has accorded approval to establish exclusive / designated Special POCSO Courts in 30 districts where more than 100 cases are pending under POCSO Act , 2012 ;
And whereas Hon'ble High Court vide letter dated 20th July 2020 has recommended the following retired Judicial Officers for appointment to the temporary posts of District & Additional Sessions Judge for a period of one ( 01 ) year from the date they take charge of their respective postings ;
Now , therefore the Government of Maharashtra in consultation with Hon'ble High Court of Judicature atBombay , hereby appoints the retired Judicial Officers mentioned in column ( 2) of the schedule shown below on contractual basis to the temporary posts of District & Additional Sessions Judge for a period of one ( 01 ) year from the date they take charge of postings mentioned against their respective names in Column (3 ) of the schedule .

Onappointment as District Judge , the above retired Judicial Officers shall be entitled to pay and allowances as per the provisions mentioned in the Government Resolution dated 17th December 2016 referred above at No. 3 , provided that the expenditure is within sanctioned budgetary provisions as approved in the Government Resolution dated 4th March 2020 referred above at No. 1 .
