मोटार वाहन अधिनियम, १९८८.
क्रमांक एमसीटी-१०२०/प्र.क्र.१०१/परिवहन-५.–ज्याअर्थी, मोटार वाहन अधिनियम, १९८८ (१९८८ चा ५९) याच्या कलम १६५, उप-कलम (१) व (२) (cid:४६२)ारे प्रदान करण्यात आलेल्या अधिकारांचा वापर करुन, मोटार वाहनांच्या वापरामुळे झालेल्या व्यक्तीचा मृत्यु किंवा त्यांना झालेली शारीरिक इजा किंवा त्यामुळे झालेल्या तिसऱ्या पक्षाच्या कोणत्याही मालमत्तेचे नुकसान किंवा दोन्हीही यांचा अंतर्भाव असणाऱ्या अपघाताच्या संबंधातील नुकसान-भरपाईसाठीच्या दाव्यावर अभिनिर्णय करण्याच्या प्रयोजनासाठी बृहन्मु ंबई महानगरपालिके च्या हद्दीत समाविष्ट असलेल्या क्षेत्रासाठी एकू ण आठ, नागपूर येथे एकू ण चार, पुणे व ठाणे येथे प्रत्येकी एक अशी एकू ण १४ मोटार अपघात दावा न्यायाधिकरणे गठीत करण्यात आली आहेत.
त्याअर्थी, आता, मोटार वाहन अधिनियम, १९८८ (१९८८ चा ५९) च्या कलम १६५ अन्वये प्रदान करण्यात आलेल्या अधिकारांचा वापर करुन व त्याखाली तयार करण्यात आलेल्या नियमान्वये महाराष्ट्र शासन या(cid:४६२)ारे श्री. अनिरुद्ध मुकु ं द चांदेकर, प्रबंधक / मा. मु(cid:१७६)य न्यायाधीश, उच्च न्यायालय, मु ंबई यांचे प्रधान सचिव यांची सदस्य, मोटार अपघात दावा न्यायाधिकरण, मु ंबई म्हणून त्यांनी पदभार स्वीकारल्यापासून त्यांच्या वयाची ६० वर्षे पूर्ण होईपय(cid:५२२)त किंवा शासनाचे पुढील आदेश होईपय(cid:५२२)त यापैकी जे अगोदर घडेल तोपय(cid:५२२)त नियुक्ती करीत आहे.

NOTIFICATION
MOTOR VEHICLE ACT, 1988.
No. MCT-1020/C.R.101/Transport-5.–Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and (2) of section 165 of the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988 (59 of 1988), the Government of Maharashtra has constituted 8 Motor Accident Claims Tribunals for the area comprised within the limits of the Municipal Corporation of Brihan Mumbai, 4 Motor Accident Claims Tribunals for Nagpur and 1 Motor Accident Claims Tribunal at Pune and Thane each total number of 14 Motor Accident Claims Tribunals for the purpose of adjudicating upon claims for compensation in respect of accidents involving the death of or bodily injury to, persons arising out of the use of motor vehicles, or damages to any property of a third party or both so arising out of such accidents.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 165 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988), and rules framed thereunder, the Government of Maharashtra hereby appoints Shri Aniruddha Mukund Chandekar, Registrar/Principal Secretary to Hon'ble Chief Justice, High Court, Bombay as Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Mumbai with effect from the date they assume charge till they attain the age of 60 years or until further orders of Government, whichever is earlier.
