Whereas, Development Plan of Katol has been sanctioned by the Government of Maharashtra in Urban Development Department Vide its Letter No. TPS-2406-3123 Case No. 133-07-UD-9, dated 04th November 2008 and it has came into force with effect from 15th December 2008;
And whereas, the Planning Authority i.e. Municipal Council, Katol has now decided to make change Modification in the aforesaid sanctioned Development Plan of Katol in respect of the purpose as per Municipal Resolution in following Chart. This change will not change the Character of the aforesaid sanctioned Development Plan of Katol.

Under Section 9(2) of the Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats and Industrial Townships Act, 1965 taking into consideration population figures of Census of India, 2011 (including the population of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Class of Citizens), the number of elected Councillors in respect of Ghuggus Nagar Parishad Area in Chandrapur District is fixed as mentioned in the following table.
