In pursuance of clause ( 3 ) of article 348 of the Constitution of India , the following translation in English of the Maharashtra ( Supplementry ) Appropriation Bill , 2021 ( L. A. Bill No. III of 2021 ) , introduced in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly on the 4th March 2021 , is hereby published under the authority of the Governor .

A BILL

to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty - first day ofMarch 2021 .

WHEREAS by virtue of article 204 of the Constitution of India , read with article 205 thereof, it is necessary to provide for the passing of an Appropriation Act for the appropriation of further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty- first day of March 2021 ; and for the purpose of authorising payment of the said sums ; it is hereby enacted in the Seventy- second Year of the Republic of India as follows : -

Short title .

1. This Act may be called the Maharashtra ( Supplementary ) Appropriation Act, 2021.

2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State , there may be paid and of Rs . applied sums not exceeding those specified in column ( 4) of the Schedule hereto annexed out of the amounting in aggregate to the sum of twenty one thousand seventy six crores , thirty Consolidated two lakhs , thirty six thousand rupees towards defraying the several charges which will Fund of the come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty- first day of March 2021 , State for the in respect of the services and purposes specified in column (2) of the Schedule .

Financial Year 2020-2021.

Appropriation. 3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty - first day of March 2021 .
