जन्म व मृत्यू नोंदणी अधिनियम , १ ९६९ .
क्रमांक जमृनों -२०२० / ७२४/प्र.क्र . ३२६ / कु.क.. जन्म व मृत्यू नोंदणी अधिनियम , १ ९ ६ ९ ( १ ९ ६ ९ चा १८ ) च्या कलम ३० चे उप- कलम ( २ ) च्या खंड (ख ) आणि कलम १४ द्वारे प्रदान केलेल्या अधिकारांचा वापर करून महाराष्ट्र शासन केंद्र शासनाच्या मान्यतेने महाराष्ट्र जन्म व मृत्यू नोंदणी नियम , २००० मध्ये याद्वारे खालीलप्रमाणे सुधारणा करीत आहे: -
१. या नियमांना महाराष्ट्र जन्म व मृत्यू नोंदणी ( सुधारणा ) नियम , २०२१ असे संबोधण्यात येईल.
२. महाराष्ट्र जन्म व मृत्यू नोंदणी नियम, २००० च्या नियम १० मधील उप- नियम ( १ ) च्या परंतुकामध्ये " ( एक) जर त्यांची नोंदणी " या वाक्यापासून सुरू होणाऱ्या व " अधीन राहून निबंधक " या वाक्याच्या ठिकाणी संपणाऱ्या मजकुराऐवजी पुढीलप्रमाणे बदल समाविष्ट करण्यात येत आहे .-
" जर त्यांची नोंदणी ,-
( एक) जन्म व मृत्यू नोंदणी नियम , २००० च्या प्रारंभाच्या दिनांकापूर्वी जर नोंदणी केली असेल तर महाराष्ट्र जन्म व मृत्यू नोंदणी ( सुधारणा ) नियम, २०२१ प्रसिद्ध करण्याच्या वेळी ज्या प्रकरणांना पंधरा वर्ष पूर्ण झालेली आहेत अशा प्रकरणांसाठी आणखी पाच वर्षांचा कालावधी देण्यात येईल , किंवा
(दोन) महाराष्ट्र जन्म व मृत्यू नोंदणी ( सुधारणा) नियम , २०२१ च्या प्रारंभाच्या दिनांकानंतर जर नोंदणी केली असेल तर कलम २३ च्या उप - कलम (४ ) च्या तरतुदींच्या अधीन राहून अशा नोंदणीच्या दिनांकापासून निबंधक, - "
महाराष्ट्राचे राज्यपाल यांच्या आदेशानुसार व नावाने ,

NOTIFICATION
REGISTRATION OF BIRTH AND DEATHS ACT , 1969 .
No. JAMRUNO - 2020/ 724/C.R.326/F.W.-In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub - section ( 2 ) of section 30 read with section 14 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act , 1969 ( 18 of 1969) , the Government of Maharashtra with the approval of the Central Government , hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Maharashtra Registration of Births and Deaths Rules , 2000 , namely :-
1. These rules may be called the Maharashtra Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Rules , 2021 .
2. In rule 10 of the Maharashtra Registration of Births and Deaths Rules , 2000 in sub - rule (1) , in the proviso , for the portion beginning with the words " which shall be reckoned" and ending with the words " the Registrar shall " the following shall be substituted , as follows , namely :-
"which shall be reckoned ,-
( i) in case where the registration has been made prior to the date of commencement of the Registration of Births and Deaths Rules , 2000 , further five years period shall be given , in respect of those cases , where fifteen years period has been completed at the time of publication of the Maharashtra Registration of Births and Death (Amendment ) Rules , 2021 , or
( ii) in case where the registration is made after the date of commencement of the Maharashtra Registration of Births and Deaths ( Amendment) Rules , 2021 from , the date of such registration , subject to the provisions of sub - section (4) of section 23 , and the Registrar shall,-"
