Amendment to the Rules of Procedure

No.ROP/ 2021 /II.- In exercise of its function as stipulated under Article 320 of the Constitution of India , the Maharashtra Public Service Commission hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Maharashtra Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure , 2014 ; namely : - 1. ( i) These rules may be called , " The Maharashtra Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure Amendment , Rules 2021. "

( ii) These rules shall be deemed to have come into force on 16th March , 2021 .

2. In rule ( i) 9 sub - rule ( 1) , the following portion ,

"The number of candidates to be shortlisted for interview shall not exceed 10 times the number of such vacancies , in any case . "

shall be substituted as

" The number of candidates to be shortlisted for interview shall not ordinarly exceed 10 times the number of such vacancies . "
