NOTIFICATION

MAHARASHTRA INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ACT, 1961.

Whereas, Maharashtra Logistic Park Policy, 2018 has been published by Government in Industries, Energy and Labour Department vide its Notification No.1916/C.R.221/Industry-2, dated 14th Feb. 2018 (Herein referred as the "said Policy");

And whereas, as per the said Policy, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) is declared as the Special Planning Authority for the development of Integrated Logistics Parks across the State ;

And whereas, as per section 43 (1B) of Maharashtra Industrial Development Act,1961, that subject to the general or specific directions of the State Government, the Corporation may, by notification in the Official Gazette, notify any industrial area as the Integrated Industrial Area and upon such notification, the Corporation shall become the Special Planning Authority for such Integrated Industrial Area under the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966 ;

And whereas, M/s. ROYAL WAREHOUSING AND LOGISTICS LLP made an application requesting MIDC to notify their proposed project area in Village Pise, Taluka Bhiwandi, District Thane as Integrated Logistic Park ;

And whereas, the High Power Committee in its 130th meeting held on 28th December 2020 has approved the proposal of an Integrated Logistics Park proposed to be developed by, M/s. ROYAL WAREHOUSING AND LOGISTICS LLP in Village Pise, Taluka Bhiwandi, District Thane ;

And whereas, vide its, Notification No.IDC-2021/CR 165/Ind-14, dated 19th March 2021of Industries Energy and Labour Department, Government of Maharashtra declared 19.1046 Ha. area of Village Pise, Taluka Bhiwandi, District Thane to be an " Industrial Area" under clause (g) of section 2 of Maharashtra Development Act, 1961.

Now therefore, in exercise of powers conferred under clause (1B) of section 43 of the Maharashtra Industrial Development Act, 1961 (Mah.XV of 2013), the undersigned as Chief Executive Officer of Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation, Hereby notify the area at Village Pise, Taluka Bhiwandi, District Thane as per appended schedule as " Integrated Industrial Area (Logistic Park)".

A copy of this Notification and plan showing boundaries shall form part of this Notification.The Notification is made available on the website of MIDC www.midcindia.org.
