Madam Cama Road, Hutatma Rajguru Chowk, Mantralaya, Mumbai 400 032. dated the 14th September, 2021
PROCLAMATION
No. MUN. 2021/C.R.289/UD-18.—In pursuance of the provisions of sub sections (1), (1B), (2) of section 341-A read with sub section (3) of section 3 of the Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats and Industrial Townships Act, 1965 (Mah. XL of 1965) (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act"), the Government of Maharashtra, hereby announces its intention to issue a notification in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section's (1), (1B) and (2) of section 341- A read with sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Act with a view to specify the local combined area of 4 Gram Panchayats i.e. Anagar-kombadwadi, Khandobachiwadi, Nalbandwadi and Kuranwadi (Anagar) Gram Panchayats in Solapur District, being an area in transition from Rural area to an urban area, and to constitute collective Nagar Panchayat by the name of the "Anagar Nagar Panchayat" for the said local area, the draft of which is appended herewith.
2. Any person who entertains any objections to the said Proclamation is hereby required to submit the same in writing with the reasons therefore to the Collector, Solapur District within a period of thirty days from the date of publication of this proclamation in the Maharashtra Government Gazette.
3. Any such objection which may be received during the said period will be considered by the Government.
DRAFT NOTIFICATION
No. MUN-2021/C.R.289/UD-18.—Whereas, by the Government Proclamation, Urban Development Department, No. MUN-2021/C.R.289/UD-18, dated the 14th September 2021 published in the Maharashtra Government Gazette, dated the 14th September 2021, issued in pursuance of the provisions of sub-sections (1), (1B), (2) of section 341-A read with sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats and Industrial Townships Act, 1965 (Mah. XL of 1965) (hereinafter referred to as "the said act"), the Government of Maharashtra had invited objections in the Maharashtra Government Gazette, to its proposal to issue a notification under sub-sections (1), (1B), (2) of section 341-A read with sub-section (3) of section 3 of the said Act, to specify the local combined area of 4 Gram Panchayats i.e. Anagar-kombadwadi, Khandobachiwadi, Nalbandwadi and Kuranwadi (Anagar) Gram Panchayats in Solapur District, being an area in transition from a rural to an urban area and to constitute a collective Nagar Panchayat by the name of the "Anagar Nagar Panchayat" for the said transitional area ;
And whereas, the Government has considered the objections received from Collector, Solapur pursuant to the said Proclamation within the period of 30 days specified therein ;
And whereas, having regard to the factors mentioned in clause (2) of article 243-Q of the Constitution of India, the Government of Maharashtra considers it expedient to specify the said local area, more particularly described in Schedule "A" appended hereto, to be a transitional area ;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1), (1B) and (2) of section 341 A of the said Act and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Government of Maharashtra hereby specifies the said local area to be a transitional area, for which there shall be constituted a Nagar Panchayat, as provided in sub-section (2) of said section 341 A of the said Act, by the name Anagar Nagar Panchayat.
The boundaries of the said transitional area shall be such as are specified in Schedule "B" appended hereto.
