Declaration of Intention to prepare Development Plan (Second Revised) of Pauni Municipal Council as per
Sections 34 and 38 read with Section 23 (1) of Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966.

The Development Plan of Municipal Council, Pauni is sanctioned by Urban Development Department, Government of Maharashtra vide it's Notification No. D.P. Pauni(R) TPV-2-4080, dated the 17th June 1991 and it has came into force with effect from 1st September 1991. As per Urban Development Department Notification dated 28th March 2018 the Jurisdication of the Municipal Council, Pauni is extended by inclusion of the additional area. It is necessary to prepare Development Plan (Second Revised) for the area of Municipal Council as per provision of Sections 34 and 38 read with Section 23(1) of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966 for planned development of the said area.
Hence, the Pauni Municipal Council by its Resolution No. 08, dated 13th August, 2021 has given consent to declare its intention to prepare Development Plan (Second Revised), as per provision of Sections 34 and 38 read with Section 23(1) of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966. Accordingly, this notice is being published.
This plan showing boundary of the area included in Development Plan of Pauni, Municipal Council is kept open for inspection by the public on office working days, during office hours at the office of the Municipal Council, as required under Section 23(2) of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966.
Any suggestion/objection of the public in this regard, may be forwarded in writing to the Chief Officer, Pauni Municipal Council within the period of 60 (sixty) days from the date of publication of this notice in Maharashtra Government Gazette. This suggestion/objection shall be duly considered while preparing the Development Plan.

Modification Under Section 37 of Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966.
No. NMC-TPD-1047-2021.—
Whereas, the Revised Development Plan of Nagpur City prepared under the provisions of Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966, Section 31(1) has been partially sanctioned by the Govt. vide Urban Development Department Notification No. TPS-2496-2643-CR-300(a)-97-UD-9, dated 7th January 2000 and came into force from dated 1st March 2000. Excluded part of Development Plan has been sanctioned vide Govt. Notification No. TPS-2400-1628-CR-200-2000-UD-9, dated 10th September 2001and came into force from dated 21st September 2001. Also Nagpur Municipal Corpora- tion has been declared as the "Planning Authority" for Nagpur City except the areas covered under seven schemes vide Govt. Notification No. TPS-2401-855-CR-76-UD-9, dated 27th February 2002;
And Whereas, in the said Revised Sanctioned Development Plan, the Municipal Corporation is desirous of making some modifications u/s 37 of Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966 as detailed below-
In the sanctioned Development Plan of Nagpur City, the 30 mtr. wide D.P. road is proposed between ' Patni Automobile to L.I.C. Square for Mouza Sitabuldi. Said 30 mtr. wide D.P. road is required to be widened to 33 mtr. as per requirement of Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation/National Highway Authority of India for the construction of Metro Viaduct cum Four Lane Flyover & the proposal of modification for 30 mtr. wide D.P. road to be modified for 33 mtr. width as proposed by the Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation/ National Highway Authority of India ;
And whereas, as per Section 37 of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966, Nagpur Municipal Corporation has decided to modify 30 mtr. wide D.P. road into 33 mtr. from Patni Automobile to L.I.C. Square of Mouza Sitabuldi. And Nagpur Municipal Corporation has passed the resolution vide Resolution No. 363, dated 5th March 2019 to make the aforesaid modification.
The part plan of Development Plan of Nagpur City showing the aforesaid modification are kept open at the office of the Town Planning Deptt. of Nagpur Municipal Corporation for inspection by public during office hours on all working days. The suggestions and objections which may be received to Municipal Corporation in respect of the said modification to the Development Plan within a period of one month from the date of publication of this notice will be heard by the Municipal Commissioner before submitting the said modification proposal, to the State Government for sanction.
