NOTIFICATION
No. G / Amend/ 1206.-In exercise of the powers conferred under Article 229 of the Constitution of India , the Hon'ble the Chief Justice and the Judges of the Bombay High Court are hereby pleased to direct that the following amendment shall be made in Rule 6 of the Bombay High Court ( Original Side ) Service Rules, 2002 .
( 1)
Read first proviso to Rule 6 of the Bombay High Court ( Original Side ) Service Rules , 2002 instead of existing proviso as ;
Provided the candidate has worked in any of the above capacity for a minimum period or two years :

Read second proviso to Rule 6 of the Bombay High Court ( Original Side ) Service Rules , 2002 instead ofexisting proviso as ;
Provided further that the candidate possesses a degree in Law of a recognized University भाग चार- क-४२-१

Read third proviso to Rule 6 of the Bombay High Court ( Original Side ) Service Rules , 2002 instead ofexisting proviso as ;
Provided further that only for the appointment to the post of Additional Prothonotary and Senior Master and Court Receiver the appointment may also be made-
(i ) by selection from amongst the Civil Judges , Senior Division ;
OR
(ii) by nomination from amongst Advocates ordinarily practising in the High Court and of not less than 7 years ' standing .
Existing point No. ( iii) of Rule 6 of the Bombay High Court ( Original Side ) Service Rules , 2002 stands deleted.
