In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 8) of section 24 of the Code of Criminal Procedure , 1973 ( Act No.ll of 1974 ) the Government of Maharashtra hereby appoints , Adv . Pradip Gharat , as " Special Public Prosecutor " for conducting the Case/s before District and Sessions Court , Thane which is /are arising out of C.R.No.1151 / 2021 registered at Thane City PoliceStation , Dist . Thane .
2. His appointment is strictly subject to the conditions of service laid down in the Maharashtra Law Officers ( Appointment , Conditions of Service and Remuneration ) Rules , 1984.
3. Lump sum fees of Rs . 2,00,000 ( Rupees Two Lakh only ) as quoted by Adv . Pradip Gharat has been already deposited by the applicant Shri Ketan M. Tanna with the Government , vide R.B.I. Challan No.4841 , dated 30th September 2021. The amount will be paid to Adv . Pradip Gharat after completion of the case/ s .
4. The Government reserves the right to revoke/ modify/ annul the order without assigning any reasons .
