Under Section 9 (2) of the Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats and Industrial Townships Act, 1965, taking into consideration population of Census of India 2011 (including the Population of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Class of Citizens), The number of elected councillors in respect of Nagar Panchayat Nandgaon Khandeshwar, area in Amravati District is fixed as mentioned in the following Table.
