MAHARASHTRA MUNICIPAL COUNCILS, NAGAR PANCHAYATS AND INDUSTRIAL TOWNSHIPS ACT, 1965.—
ORDER No. Mun-19(3)-W.S.-037-2023.—
Under Section 9(2) of the Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats and Industrial Townships Act, 1965 taking into consideration population figures of Census of India, 2011 (including the population of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes of Citizens), the number of elected Councillors in respect of Newly formed Kandri Nagar Panchayat Area in Nagpur District is fixed as mentioned in the following table.
Similarly, the number of seats to be reserved for Women (including the seats belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes of Citizens) and the number of seats to be reserved for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes of Citizens are also fixed as mentioned in the table.
The General Elections of the following Nagar Parishad should be held as per this order.
