I
No. SPP-1017/2211/CR. 307/D-XIV.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (8) of the section 24 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act No. II of 1974) the Government of Maharashtra hereby cancels the appointment of Adv. Prakash J. Salsingikar as " Special Public Prosecutor " made vide Government Notification No. SPP-1017/2211/CR-307/D-XIV, dated 17th February, 2018 with immediate effect.

No. SPP.1017/2211/CR. 307/D-XIV.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (8) of the section 24 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act No. II of 1974) the Government of Maharashtra hereby appoints Adv. Gaurav Mahadev Parkar as " Special Public Prosecutor " for conducting the MPID case bearing No. 04/2014, pending before Special MPID Court, Session Court, Mumbai, which is arising out of E.O.W. C.R. No. 168/2013 (C.R. No. 187/2013 registered with Ma- rine Drive Police Station, Mumbai ;
2. His appointment is strictly subject to the conditions of service laid down in the Maharashtra Law Officers (Appointment, Conditions of Service and Remuneration) Rules, 1984.
3. Lump sum fees of Rs. 50,000 (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) as quoted by Adv. Gaurav Mahadev Parkar has been deposited with the Government, vide R.B.I. Challan No. 114890, dated 6th February 2018. The amount will be paid to Adv. Gaurav Mahadev Parkar after completion of the case.
4. The Government reserves the right to revoke/modify/annul the order without assigning any reasons.
