Publication of Draft Development Plan of Amgaon Under Section 26 (1) of
Maharashtra Regional & Town Planning Act, 1966.
NOTICE
No. NPA-CO-108-2023.—
Whereas the Amgaon Municipal Council (hereinafter referred to as " the said Planning Authority ") vide Resolution No. 2 dated 2nd June 2021 has declared its intention to prepare a Draft Development Plan of Amgaon (hereinafter referred to as the " said Draft Development Plan") for the area under its juridiction, (hereinafter referred to as the said " area ") as per the provision of Section 23(1) read with section 21(2) of Maharashtra Regional & Town Planning Act, 1966 (herein- after referred to as the " said Act " and notice to that effect is published in Maharashtra Government Gazette Nagpur Division, Supplement Part 1-A, on 28th Oct-3rd Nov 2021;
And whereas, as per the provision in section 24 of the said Act, the Municipal Council vide Order No. 931, dated 10th August 2022 has appointed Assistant Director, Town Planning Gondia Branch, Gondia as " Town Planning Officer " to prepare the said Draft Development Plan for the said area;
And whereas, the Town Planning Officer and Assistant Director, Town Planning Gondia Branch, Gondia after having prepared Existing Land Use Map as per section 25 of the said Act, has Prepared the said Draft Development Plan of the said area and has handed it over to the said Planning Authority on 4th October 2022 for publication under section 26(1) of the said Act;
And whereas, the said Planning Authority has passed Resolution No. 1, dated 21st Feburary 2023 to publish the said Draft Development Plan under section 26(1) of the said Act, for inviting suggestions/objections from the public;
Therefore, Amgaon Municipal Council hereby published the said Draft Development Plan along with the Report under section 26(1) of the said Act. for inviting suggestions/objections from the public. The copy of the said Draft Development Plan and Report there of are kept open for inspection of the public at the following offices on all working days during office hours.

The suggections/objections if any, in writing from the public in this regard with reasons, shall be submitted to the Chief Officer, Amgaon Municipal Council within the period of 30 days from the date of publication of the Notice in Maharashtra Govt. Gazette. Suggestions/objections received by the Municipal Council within the period of the 30 days from the date of publicaiton of this Notice in Maharashtra Government Gazette shall only be considered.
The copies of the said Draft Development Plan and particulars shall be available to the public at reasonable price in the office of the Amgaon Municipal Council.
