महाराष्ट्र शासन राजपत्र, भाग एक-ल २ गुरुवार ते बुधवार, मार्ष ३० - एप्रिल ५, २०२३/र्ैत्र ९-१५, शके १९४५ Dear Sir,(1) I beg to inform you that at the General body meeting of member of the present applicant union namely Mumbai Electric Worker's Union, which was held at Mumbai at Praful Hall, Opposite Vihar Hotel, Santacruze (East), Mumbai 400 055 on 24th day of June, 2022 and Executive committee meetings held at Bharat Kunj Building, 3rd Floor, Opposite Dinkar Patel Garden, Road No. 6, Santacruz (East), Mumbai 400 055 on 20th day of May, 2022 it was decided that the present Union, abovenamed should apply to you for registration as representation union for the Generation and Supply of Electrical Energy in the local area of Greater Mumbai in place of Tata Hydro Companys' Employees Union, Mumbai.
(2) A copy of the Resolution signed by the President and General Secretary of the present applicant union is attached hereto.
(3) The present Applicant union is registered under the Trade Unions Act, 1926 on 3rd Day February, 1971 Under Certificate (Register) number '6403' issued by the Registrar of Trade Union Act, 1926, Mumbai.
(4) The Union has following Membership in the Generation and Supply of Electrical Energy in the local area of Greater Mumbai.

(5) The abovenamed Applicant union therefore claims a larger membership than Tata Hydro Companys' Employees Union, Mumbai, already registered.
(6) The abovenamed Applicant Union applies for Representative status under section 16 of the Act for the first time.
The Applicant Union therefore request that the union may be registered accordingly.
