Declaration of intention to prepare combined Development Plan of Mehkar Municipal Council (2nd revision of orginal
limit + extended limit) as per Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966.
NOTICE
No. 582-2023.—
Whereas, in the Mehkar Municipal Council, Distt. Buldhana Revised Development Plan of Original Limit has approved by Government of Maharashtra in Urban Development Department vide it's Notification No. TPS-2611-379-CR-132(1)-2012-UD-30, dated 3rd April 2012 and came into force from 15th May 2012. It has been 10 years since the Revised Development Plan of Mehkar Municipal Council comes into effect.
And whereas, Government of Maharashtra in Urban Development Department, vide it's Notification No. MUN-2016- C.R. 283-UD-18, dated 31st March 2021 extended limit of Mehkar Municipal Council. It is necessary to prepare the Development Plan for the area of Municipal Council as per Section 21(2) of Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966 (hereinafter referred as "the said Act") for planned development of the said area.
Now, therefore, for planned development of Municipal Council area the Mehkar Municipal Council has decided to make combined Development Plan for the original boundary area and extended boundary area of the Council.
Hence, the Mehkar Municipal Council by its Resolution No. 1, dated 20th March 2023 has given consent to declare its intention to prepare combined Development Plan for Second time revision of Development Plan for original limit and for preparation of Development Plan for extended limit as per provision of Section 38 and Section 23 (1) read with Section 21(2) of the said Act. Accordingly, this notice is being published.
The plan showing boundary of the area included in combined Development Plan of Mehkar Municipal Council is kept open for inspection by the public on office working days, during office hours at the office of the Municipal Council, as required under Section 23(2) of the said Act.
Any suggestion/objection of the public in this regard, may be forwarded in writing to the Chief Officer, Mehkar Municipal Council within a period of 60 (sixty) days from the date of publication of this notice in Maharashtra Government Gazette. The suggestion/objection shall be duly considered while preparing the combined Development Plan.
