क्रमांक एमसीटी-०३२३/रि.क्र.५८/पररवहन-५.—ज्याअर्थी, मोटार वाहन अदिदनयम, १९८८ (१९८८ चा ५९) याच्या कलम (१) व (२) द्ारे रिान करण्यात आलेल्या अदिकारांचा वापर करून, मोटार वाहनांच्या वापरामुळे झालेल्या व्यक्तीचा मृत्यु दकंवा त्यांना झालेली शारीररक इजा दकंवा त्यामुळे झालेल्या दतसऱ्या पक्ाच्या कोणत्याही मालमत्ेचे नुकसान दकंवा िोन्हीही यांचा अंतभाभाव असणाऱ्या ंबई महानगर पादलकेच्या हद्ीत अपघाताच्या संबंिातील नुकसान भरपाईसाठीच्या िाव्यावर अदभदनणभाय करण्याच्या रियोजनासाठी बृहन्मु समादवष्ट असलेल्या क्ेत्ासाठी एकूण आठ, नागपूर येर्े एकूण चार, पुणे व ठाणे येर्े रित्येकी एक अशी एकूण १४ मोटार अपघात िावा न्यायादिकरणे गदठत करण्यात आली आहेत.

त्याअर्थी, आता मोटार वाहन अदिदनयम, १९८८ च्या कलम १६५ अन्वये रिान करण्यात आलेल्या अदिकारांचा वापर करून व त्याखाली तयार करण्यात आलेल्या दनयमान्वये महाराष्ट्र शासन याद्ारे खालील तक्त्यामिील स्तंभ (२) मध्ये नमूि न्यादयक अदिकारी यांची स्तंभ (३) मध्ये नमूि मोटार अपघात िावा न्यायादिकरणाचे सिस्य म्हणून त्यांनी पिभार स्वीकारल्यापासून त्यांच्या वयाची ६० वर्षे पूणभा होईपययंत दकंवा शासनाचे पुढील आिेश होईपययंत यापैकी जे अगोिर घडेल तोपययंत दनयुक्ती करीत आहे.

NOTIFICATION

Motor Vehicle Act, 1988.

No. MCT-0323/C.R.-58/Transport-5.—Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) and (2) of section 165 of the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988(59 of 1988), The Government of Maharashtra has constituted Eight Motor Accident Claims Tribunals for the area comprised within the limits of the Municipal Corporation of Brihan Mumbai, Four Motor Accident Claims Tribunals for Nagpur and One Motor Accident Claims Tribunal at Pune and Thane each. Total 14 numbers of Motor Accident Claims Tribunals for the purpose of adjudicating upon the claims for compensation in respect of accident involving the death or bodily injury to person arising out of the use of motor vehicles or damages to any property of third party or arising of both.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 165 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and rules framed thereunder, the Government of Maharashtra hereby appoints the judicial officers stated in column (2) as Members of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunals specified in column (3) of the following table with effect from the date they assume charge till they attain the age of 60 years or until further orders of Government whichever is earlier.
