The Development Plan of Amravati (R) has been sanctioned by the Government in Urban Development Department by Notification No. TPS-2892-1180-CR-90-92(B)-UD-13, Date 4th December 1992 and it has come into force with effect from 25th February 1993. Amravati Municipal Corporation through its Administrators resolution intends to make the following modification Under Section 37 (1) of Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966 to sanctioned Development Plan of Amravati (Revised).—

Publication of Draft Development Plan of Akola Municipal Corporation (Original Limit
2nd Revised+First Extended Revised+2nd Extended Limit) Under Section 26(1) of
Maharashtra Regional & Town Planning Act, 1966
NOTICE

Whereas, the Akola Municipal Corporation, (hereinafter referred to as "the said Planning Authority,") vide Resolution No. 5, dated 18 April 2022, had declared its intention to prepare a Draft Development Plan of Akola City (Original Limit 2nd Revised + First Extended Revised and 2nd Extended Limit) (hereinafter referred to as the "said Draft Development Plan") for the area under its jurisdiction, (hereinafter referred to as the said "area") as per the provision of Section 23(1) read with Section 21(2) of Maharashtra Regional & Town Planning Act, 1966 (hereinafter referred to as the "said Act") and notice to that effect is published in Maharashtra Government Gazette Amravati Division, Part 1-A on 28th April 2022;
And whereas, as per the provision in Section 24 of the said Act, the Municipal Corporation vide Order No. 132-A, Date 04th August 2022 has appointed Deputy Director, Town Planning, Development Plan Special Unit, Municipal Corporation, Akola as " Town Planning Officer " to prepare the said Draft Development Plan for the said area;
And whereas, the Town Planning Officer and Deputy Director, Town Planning, Development Plan, Special Unit, Municipal Corporation, Akola after having prepared Existing Land Use Map as per Section 25 of the said Act, has prepared the said Draft Development Plan of the said area and has handed it over to the said Planning Authority on 19th January 2024 for publication under Section 26(1) of the said Act;
And whereas, the said Planning Authority has passed Resolution No. 119, dated 19th January 2024 to publish the said Draft Development Plan under Section 26(1) of the said Act, for inviting suggestions/objections from the public;
Therefore, Akola Municipal Corporation hereby publishes the said Draft Development Plan along with the Report under Section 26(1) of the said Act for inviting suggestions/objections from the public. The copy of the said Draft Development Plan and Report thereof are kept open for inspection of the public at the following offices on all working days during office hours.

The suggestions/objections if any, in writing from the public in this regard with reasons, shall be submitted to the Commissioner, Akola Municipal Corporation, within the period of 30, days from the date of publication of the Notice in Maharashtra Govt. Gazette. Suggestions/objections received by the Municipal Corporation within the period of the 30 days from the date of publication of this Notice in Maharashtra Government Gazette shall only be considered.
The copies of the said Draft Development Plan and particulars shall be available to the public at price mentioned in Govt. Resolution Date 28th October 2020 in the office of the Deputy Director, Town Planning, Development Plan Special Unit, Akola.
