Publication of Draft Development Plan of Dhanora Under Section 26(1) of Maharashtra Regional &
Town Planning Act, 1966.
NOTICE
No. Office-NPD-W.D.-TPN-162-2024.—
Whereas, the Nagar Panchayat, (hereinafter referred to as "the said Planning Authority,") vide Resolution No. 290, dated 04th March, 2020, had declared its intention to prepare a Draft Development Plan (hereinafter referred to as the "said Draft Development Plan") for the area under its jurisdiction, (hereinafter referred to "as the said area") as per the provision of Section 23(1) read with Section 21(2) of Maharashtra Regional & Town Planning Act, 1966 (hereinafter referred to "as the said Act") and notice to that effect is published in Maharashtra Government Gazette, Nagpur Division, Supplement Part 1-A on dated 03th-09th September 2020;
And whereas, as per the provision in Section 24 of the said Act, the Nagar Panchayat vide Order No. 31, dated 12th January, 2021 has appointed Assistant Director, Town Planning, Gadchiroli Branch, Gadchiroli as Town Planning Officer to prepare the said Draft Development Plan for the said area;
And whereas, the Town Planning Officer and Assistant Director, Town Planning, Gadchiroli Branch, Gadchiroli after having prepared Existing Land Use Map as per Section 25 of the said Act, has prepared the said Draft Development Plan of the said area and has handed it over to the Planning Authority for publication under Section 26(1) of the said Act;
And Whereas, said Planning Authority has passed Resolution No. 87, dated 28th February, 2024 to publish the said Draft Development Plan under Section 26(1) of the said Act for inviting suggestions/ objections from the public.

The copy of the said Draft Development Plan and Report thereof are kept open for inspection of the public at the following offices on all working days during office hours.—
1. The Chief Officer, Nagar Panchayat Dhanora, Dist. Gadchiroli .
2. Assistant Director, Town Planning, Gadchiroli Branch, Gadchiroli.
The suggestions/objections if any, in writing from the public in this regard with reasons, shall be submitted to the Chief Officer, Dhanora Nagar Panchayat, within the period of 30 days from the date of publication of the Notice in Maharashtra Govt. Gazette. Suggestions/objections received by the Dhaora Nagar Panchayat within the period of the 30 days from the date of publication of this Notice in Maharashtra Government Gazette shall only be considered.
The copy of the said Draft Development Plan and particulars shall be available to the public at reasonable price in the office of the Nagar Panchayat, Dhanora.
