SLUM REHABILITATION AUTHORITY, MUMBAI

No.SRA/CA-8/Slum Declaration/Gabriel Gomes/2024.—Whereas the Competent Authority-8, SRA, Mumbai has been appointed as, under section 3 of the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance, Redevelopment) Act, 1971 in respect of all lands having any type of tenure and ownership (except Central Government lands) in Mulund, Bhandup, Kanjur, Hariyali, Vikroli and Ghatkopar revenue villages within Kurla Taluka ;

And Whereas, on the basis of the information about the slum areas available, the Competent Authority is satisfied that the areas specified in the Schedule hereto (hereinafter referred to as the said areas) are source of danger to the health, safety or convenience of the public of that area and of its neighbourhood by reason of it being overcrowded and lacking in basic amenities, has been rendered insanitary, squalid, and/or otherwise.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under section 4 (1) of the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance, Redevelopment) Act, 1971, I, Competent Authority-8, SRA, Mumbai, declare the said areas to be the Slum Areas.
