Under section 9 (2) of the Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Parishad and Industrial Townships Act, 1965, taking into consideration, as per the Census of 2011 (including the population of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes) the number of elected councillors in respect of Lonar Nagar Parishad area in Buldhana district is revised and fixed as mentioned in the following table.
