No.SPCA-1223/C.R.259/POL-14.—Whereas, the Government of Maharashtra has, vide Government Notification, Home Department, No. MIS-3614/C.R.56/Pol-3, dated the 25th May 2015, issued in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 22P of the Maharashtra Police Act (XII of 1951), constituted the State Police Complaint Authority (hereinafter referred to as "the said Authority") and appointed the Chairman and Members on the said Authority ;

And whereas, the member from the category of a Police Officer superannuated in the rank not below the rank of Special Inspector General of Police and a retired officer not below the rank of Secretary to the State Government is vacant on the said Authority ;

And whereas, the Government of Maharashtra considers it expedient to appoint the members from said categories on the said Authority ;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 22P of the Maharashtra Police Act (XII of 1951), the Government of Maharashtra, hereby amends the Government Notification, Home Department, No. MIS-3614/C.R. 56/Pol-3, dated the 25th May 2015, as follows, namely :—
