NOTIFICATION
No. -558-Slum-2024.—
Whereas, the Maharashtra Slum Area (Improvement, Clearance and Re-Development) Act, 1971 has came into force with effect from 3rd Sptember, 1971, in the areas within the limits of the Corporation of the City of Nagpur, vide Government Notification of Urban Development, Public Health and Housing Department No. SCA-1571-35325-F-III, dated 3rd September 1971; And whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by the Sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Maharashtra Slum Area (Improvement, Clearance and Re-Development) Act, 1971 (Mah. XXXVIII of 1971) the Government of Maharashtra has appointed the Nagpur Municipal Corporation for all areas in the City of Nagpur, to the Government Nagpur Housing and Area Development Board, Nagpur and Nagpur Improvement Trust.
And whereas, I, Kamlesh S. Chavan, Executive Engineer and Competent Authority (Slum) Nagpur Municipal Corporation on being appointed as the Competent Authority vide Notification No. Zopuyo 2013- CR-150-Zopasu, dated 23rd April 2014 am satisfied that the area specified in the schedule hereto (here- inafter referred to as "the said area") is a source of danger to the health safety or in convenience of the public of that area and its neighbourhood by reason of the area being overcrowded and lacking in basic amenities have rendered insanitary, squalid or otherwise.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under Sub-section (b) (11) of Section 4 of Maharashtra Slum Area (Improvement, Clearance and Re-Development) Act, 1971, declare the said area to be slum area. The map of the area can be inspected at the Office of the Executive Engineer and Competent Authority (Slum), Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Civil Lines, Nagpur.
Necessary Slum Improvement works intended to be carried out in above mentioned area are listed below :
(1) Public Latrines, single or grouped;
(2) Water Mains branches and Public water stand posts;
(3) Sewer lines, waste water drains, storm water drains;

Any person aggrieved by the above declaration of slum improvement areas may appeal to Tribunal located at Griha Nirman Bhavan, Kala Nagar, Bandra (East),Bombay-51, within 30 days from the date of declaration of Gazette Notification.

Modification Under Section 37 of Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966
PUBLIC NOTICE

Whereas, Development Plan of Katol has been sanctioned by the Government of Maharashtra in Urban Development Department vide it's letter No. TPS-2406-3123-Case No.133-07-UD-9, Dated 4th November 2008 and it has came into force with effect from 15th December 2008.
Whereas, the Planning Authority i.e. Municipal Council, Katol has now decided to make areas modification in the aforesaid sanctioned Development Plan of Katol in respect of the purpose as per Municipal Resolution in following chart. This change will not change the character of the aforesaid sanctioned Development Plan of Katol.

Dated 9th August, 2024 And whereas, the Plan Showing the proposed Modification is kept open in the Office of Municipal Council, Katol during office hours for inspection of public.
Therefore, under Section 37 of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966, it's hereby notified that any person having any objection or suggestion regarding the proposed modification may communicate the same in writing to the Municipal Council, Katol within a period of not more than one month from the date of publication of this Notice in the Maharashtra Government Gazette.
The objections shall be considered by the Planning Authority before submitting the Proposal to the Government for sanction.
