महाराष्ट्र नगरपरिषदा, नगरपंचायती व औद्योगिक नगरी अधिनियम, १९६५ च्या कलम ९ (२) मधील तरतुदी नूसार सन २०११ ची जनगणनेची लोकसंख्या विचारात घेऊन अकोला जिल्ह्यतील हिवरखेड या नव्याने स्थापन झालेल्या नगरपरिषदेची सदस्य संख्या निश्चित करण्यात आलेली आहे.
त्याचप्रमाणे, नागरिकांच्या मागास प्रवर्ग व राखून ठेवावयाच्या स्त्री सदस्य संख्या, अनुसूचित जाती, अनुसूचित जमातीसाठी राखून

Under Section 9 (2) of the Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats and Industrial Townships Act, 1965, Taking into consideration population of Census of India 2011 (Including the population of Census of India of Citizens) The number of elected Councillors in respect of newly formed Hiwarkhed Municipal Council Area in Akola District is fixed as mentioned in the following table.
Similarly, the number of seats to be reserved for women (Including the seats belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes of Citizens) and the number of seats to be reserved for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes of Citizens are also fixed as mentioned in the following table.

BY JOINT DIRECTOR OF TOWN PLANNING
NOTIFICATION
No.-TPS-Wani-Extn-section-61-1485 .–
Whereas, the Municipal Council, Wani (being the Planning Authority) (hereinafter referred to as the "said Municipal Council") in exercise of the powers vested in it under sub-section (1) of section 60 of the Maharashtra Regional & Town Planning Act, 1966 (Mah. XXXVII of 1966 ) ( hereinafter referred to as " the said Act") by its Resolution No. 1, dated 22nd September, 2023, declared its intention to prepare the Draft Town Planning Scheme, Wani ( hereinafter referred to as " the said Draft Scheme") for the area comprised in that scheme and published the declaration so made in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (2) of section 60 of the said Act in the Maharashtra Govermemt Gazette, 1-A, dated December 28th, 2023- January 3rd, 2024 at Page No.7;
And whereas, in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 61 of the said Act, the said Municipal Council has to make and publish the said Draft Scheme within the period not later than nine months from the date of declaration of intention to perpare the said Draft Scheme i.e before 21st June, 2024 or within such further period as may be extended by the Government, under the provisions of sub-section (3) of section 61 of the said Act;
And whereas, the said Municipal Council by its letter No.1410, dated 09th December, 2024 has requested the Joint Director of Town Planning, Amravati Division, Amravati to extend the period for making and publishing the said Draft Scheme, under the provisions of sub-section (3) of section 61 of the said Act, by a further period from 13th September, 2024 to 22nd January, 2025;
And whereas, the period due to enforcement of code of conduct of the General Parliamentary Election in the Country and General Legislative Assembly Election in the State shall be excluded from the prescribed time limit, as per the provisions of section 148-A of the said Act;
And whereas, it is expedient to extend the period for making and publication of the said Draft Scheme by a period frm 13th September, 2024 to 22nd January, 2025 in the larger public interest;
४ महाराष्ट्र शासन राजपत्र भाग एक-अ अमरावती विभागीय पुरवणी, डिसेंबर २६, २०२४-जानेवारी १, २०२५/पौष ५-११, शके १९४६Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers delegated vide Notification of the Government in the Urban Develope- ment Department, No. TPS-1813-3211-CR-508-UD-13, dated 1st December, 2016 and all other powers enbling it in that behalf, the Joint Director of Town Planning, Amravati Division, Amravati is hereby pleased to extend, under Sub-section (3) of Section 61 of the said Act, the period for making and publishing the said draft scheme by a further period form 13th September, 2024 up to and inclusive of 22nd January, 2025.
