CORRIGENDUM

Publication of list of modifications/changes in Draft Development Plan of Navi Mumbai

under section 28(4) of Maharashtra Regional & Town Planning Act, 1966.

Whereas, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, being Planning Authority has published the Draft Development Plan of Navi Mumbai under section 26(1) of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966 (Hereinafter referred to as the "said Act") vide notice dated 10th August 2022 for invtiting suggestions/objections from the general public. The said Notice was published in Maharashtra Government Gazzette on dated 10th August 2022.

And whereas, after considering the suggestions/objections to the said Plan, received within the stipulated period, the Planning Committee constitued under section 28(2) of the said Act, has submitted its report to the said Planning Authority on16th February 2024.

And whereas, the said Planning Authority, after considering the report submitted by Planning Committee, accepted it with some changes and passed Resolution No. 5877 dt.22nd February 2024 to make modifications/changes to the said Plan and submit the said Plan for sanction to the Government under section 30 of the said Act;

And whereas, the list of modifications/changes made under section 28(4) of the said Act by the said Planning Authority, is hereby published for the perusal of the general public in Maharashtra Government Gazzette on dated 23rd February 2024 and in local newspaper on dated 24th February 2024.

And whereas, the Government vide its letter dated 26th November 2024 has directed the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation to change the use of the Plot No.31, Sec 30A, Vashi as per CIDCO Lease agreement by means of corrigdeum to the modifications under section 28(4) of the said Act, and for that purpose it is necessary to issue Corrigendum for the same ;

And whereas, the Government vide its letter dated 08th February 2024 has directed Navi Mumbai Municipal Corpoartion not to proposed reservations on the alredry allotted plots by CIDCO.

And whereas, Hon'ble Court in PIL No. 83/2024 vide order dt. 5th July 2024 has directed to action in accordance with law with respect to holding pond in plot No. 1+2A, Sec. 22, Sanpada, and also it is neccsary to rectify the drafting errors with respect to some plots, accordingly neccsssary changes are to be made in the Draft development Plan also ;

And whereas, the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation is of the opinion that with respect to similar kind of plots received for development permission it is necessary to make changes in proposal of the said plots ;

And whereas, the said Planning Authority passed Resolution No. 7332, dated 26th December 2024 to make modifications / changes as per Corrigendum to the said Plan and submit the said Plan for sanction to the Government under section 30 of the said Act ;

And whereas, the list of modifications/changes made under section 28(4) of the Act by the said Planning Authority, is hereby published as Corridendum Appendix-A as per the provisions of said Act for information of the public. The said Draft Development Plan showing the modifications changes is kept open for the inspection of the public in the following offices, on workin days, during office hours for a period of 30 days and is also available on website of NMMC. GM-34	Ghansoli	As shown in the Plan, Sector-23, Plot No. 1 & 3 is deleted from "Multi-purpose Ground" and land so released is now included in "Residential Zone".
GM-35	Ghansoli	As shown in the Plan, Sector-4, Plot No. (200 to 211)(pt), is deleted from "Recreational Zone & NDZ" and land so released is now included in "Residential Zone".
AM-42	Airoli	As shown in the Plan, Sector-20B, Plot No. B60 pt., is deleted from "Public Utility Zone" and land so released is now included in "Residential Zone".The word "ESS" is also deleted which was shown on this plot.
