NOTIFICATION
Working Journalists and other neWspaper employees (Conditions of serviCe) and misCellaneous provisions aCt, 1955.
No. Misc-1124/C.R.136/Lab-6.— In case of the dispute between, M/S Indian Express Newspapers, Mumbai Ltd. and the complainant Shri Nitin Ganpat Dingankar the Government has deliberated on the demand of Shri Nitin Ganpat Dingankar for getting salary, allowances and other differential amount and interest thereon as recommended by Majethia Pay Board. After the hearing held from time to time, the Labour Commissioner in his letter No. Kaa/Gr.V./Shramik Patrakar/01-2024/ Karya-11/959, dated 7th November 2024 reported that the said dispute has not been resolved ;
And Whereas, the Government of Maharashtra, after considering the above report, is satisfied that the said matter is fit to be referred to the Labour Court for adjudication.
Therefore, in exercise of the power vested under Section 17(2) of the Working Journalists and other Newspaper Employees (Conditions of Service) and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1955 the Government of Maharashtra refers the said dispute to the Labour Court, Bombay for adjudication.
