CommerCial Courts aCt, 2015. amendment aCt, 2018.
No. SPC-1319/162/C.R.36/D-IX.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of Section 3 of the Commercial Courts Act, 2015 (Act No. 4 of 2016), as amended by the Commercial Courts, Commercial Division and Commercial Appellate Division of High Courts (Amendment) Act, 2018 (Act No. 28 of 2018), the Government of Maharashtra, after consultation with and concurrence of Hon'ble the Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Bombay, hereby constitutes and appoints the Courts of District Judge-8 and District Judge-15, Nagpur as Commercial Courts for deciding Commercial Disputes of Specified Value above Rs. 1 crore.
These Courts shall function in addition to the existing Commercial Courts, namely the Court of District Judge-2, Nagpur and the Court of District Judge-9, Nagpur.
The Principal District and Sessions Judge, Nagpur shall distribute the Commercial Disputes amongst all the Commercial Courts as deemed appropriate.
