SUPPLEMENTARY NOTIFICATION

By letter bearing Outward No. BCI:D:2941/2026, dated 13/05/2026, the Bar Council of India directed all the State Bar Councils to publish/notify the names of the two women candidates in the Official Gazette (Supplementary), in continuation of the Official Gazette Published on dated 23/06/2026, notification bearing No. BC/Ele./3326/2026, dated 23/06/2026.
In pursuance of the Order dated 04/08/2026 passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India regarding the nomination of two women candidates in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 581 of 2024, Yogamaya M. G. v. Union of India & Ors., and as per the letter dated 03/09/2026, bearing No. RG/1611/189/2026, received from the Office of the Hon'ble Registrar General, it is informed that the Office of the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court, has nominated the following two Women Co-opted Members of the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa as follows :—
