Sub: Creation of different posts under Odisha Panchayati Raj Engineering Service
Cadre.
No10932–17-ENGG-05-2097/2018/PR&DM.— In pursuance of Panchayati Raj & D.W Department Resolution No.17642, Dt.14.09.2017, I am directed to convey the sanction of Governor to the creation of following categories of posts under Odisha Panchayati Raj Engineering Service Cadre.
(i) Superintending Engineer (Level-II).
(ii) Executive Engineer.
(iii) Deputy Executive Engineer, and
(iv) Assistant Executive Engineer.
2. The above posts shall carry usual D.A. and other allowances as sanctioned by the Government from time to time.
3. The Director, P.R, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department is declared as the Heads of Department and P.R. & Drinking Water Department is declared as the Administrative Department for all purposes.
4. The number of posts in each category along with their pay structure and the Head of Account in which the expenditure towards their pay and allowances shall be debitable and the corresponding posts to be abolished are indicated below:

5. On creation of such posts, the Head-quarters of each categories of posts are fixed as follows:

6. The post of Superintending Engineer-1 (One) no., Executive Engineer-30 (thirty) nos. re-designated as Addl. P.D (Tech.) DRDA created vide this Department Office Order No.-11010, Dt. 31.08.1994, Assistant Engineer-63 (Sixty three) nos. redesignated as Asst.
P.D (Tech.) DRDA including one post of A.E at State H.Q distributed vide this Department Letter No.-14257 Dt.23.09.1994 and Asst. Engineer-314 (Three hundred and fourteen) nos. created in different Blocks vide this Department G.O No.-6283, Dt.05.05.2001, G.O No.7314, Dt.29.05.2001 and G.O No.747, Dt. 07.01.2010 shall stand abolished.
This has been concurred in by the Finance Department vide their UOR No.20 SS-II, Dt.01.06.2008.
